Knossos is a short drive south of Heraklion. After the palace, the rest of the morning is on foot in the old center, around Lions Square.

We collect you from your hotel in Heraklion. The drive to Knossos is usually 15 to 25 minutes.

Knossos
Walk the palace with your guide: the central court, the throne room area, the magazines, and the partly reconstructed north entrance. This is the site tied to the legend of the labyrinth.

Heraklion city center
A guided walk around Lions Square and the Morosini Fountain, the Venetian loggia, and 1866 market street. You finish with free time for a coffee or a look at the shops.

Pickup is at 09:00. You are back at your hotel around 13:20. Traffic between the hotel and Knossos can shift these times a little.

The scheduled stop is the center itself: Lions Square, the Morosini Fountain, the loggia, and the market street. The Archaeological Museum is nearby. Going inside is optional and the ticket is not included.
Knossos has uneven paths, steps, and limited shade. The city walk is on flat streets and squares. Comfortable shoes help.
